There are some tips that will make your biryani a BETTER BIRYANI

• Use plenty of water to half cook the rice

• Add some oil in water while boiling the rice- this will help you to keep the rice separated.

• Check the spices and salt of the meat mixture, it should be slightly higher than required (when mixed with the rice it comes down to appropriate)

• Some water can be sprinkled while layering or a mixture or a mixture of cream/milk, ghee/butter and some water should be sprinkled.

• It should be sealed properly making the vessel air tight.

• It should be cooked in a heavy bottom vessel, over very low flame, possibly the vessel should be placed on a tawa.

• After opening it should never cut and mixed from the center – This will cut the long grains of rice, so it should be mixed from the sides.
